Over the past month, we saw a slew of old styles made new on the streets and runways for FW 2014 shows. From neon coloured sneakers that were extremely popular in the 80s, to clunky platform sandals that flourished during the 90s grunge era, to clogs – everything that you probably discarded from your closet a long time ago is back! Indeed, old is new again.
To start off October, we are focusing on the Chelsea boot, the quintessential Fall boot that can be worn by women, men, and children alike. The thing that we love about the Chelsea boot is its androgyny – it can be ever-so-chic when dressed up or down right rugged for a casual day. Further, some Chelsea boots, like Blundstone’s “550 Series” leather boots are well in keeping with this season’s work boot trend.
Our favourite Chelsea boot maker, Blundstone, offers a wide selection of unisex boots that are built tough to last a very long time. And with fashion being an ever-evolving door, you may want to hold onto your pair even if they happen to go “out of style” once again.
Take a look at some of our favourite looks of folks rocking their Blundstone boots while out and about.
